Murals in Downtown Houston

Get inspired to inject some colour into your feed at the Houston is Inspired mural. About a 10 minute walk from this mural, are the line of colourful murals at the Shops at Houston Centre. Head to the north side of the mall (on McKinney Street) and click away!
Gerald Hines Waterwall Park

Where: 2800 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX 77056
Within a stones throw of the Houston Galleria Mall, the Waterwall park is a great spot for your Boomerangs! Inside the structure, you will get sprayed by the water, but that can feel incredibly refreshing on a hot day.
Rosemont Pedestrian Bridge

Where: Buffalo Bayou, Buffalo Gap, TX 79508
For a lovely view of the Houston skyline with some greenery in the foreground, you want to go to the Rosemont pedestrian bridge. This bridge is part of the famous Buffalo Bayou Park in Houston, which is also a lovely place to picnic and people watch in nice weather.
Japanese Gardens at Hermann Park

This cute cafe is just made for Instagram, I mean look at it! Apart from the adorable interiors, the place also serves amazing pastries. The cafe itself is pretty tiny, so you probably want to pick a time when it is not too crowded if you can.
